The paper developed by an International team from EU, US and India explores examples of how social media networks, cloud, big data, mobility and internet of things technologies are being developed in industries. The paper includes 22 examples in a variety of technology combinations aiming to show how digital ecosystems are become real and enabled. This is part of a current initiative by the International Standards Body The Open Group to develop the Open Platform 3.0 thinking and architecture practices to enable digital ecosystems and solutions.
