Very impressed with the SPI initiative recently launched. The Social Progress Index addressed the ecosystem level thinking and perspective of social and sustainable ecosystems. I see the digital work I do as very much linked to these fundamental ideas and this new index is really excellent and timely development for social and economic viability and outcome driven ecosystem engineering sorely needed.
What is needed is strong policy instruments to make this real, digital ecosystems I see as playing a key role in enabling and supporting the building blocks, integration, performance and visibility of these goals.
