Looking forward to meeting up again in London and beyond.
The Open Group have kindly provided a speaking slot for me on Wednesday 9am Oct 22.
I plan to talk about real case studies on how Enterprises are using digital technologies and platforms to transform the way they are doing business and their operating model. This is based on discussions and work with companies and industry sectors and showcase how Open Platform 3.0 thinking and models using Archimate can create powerful new digital strategies and outcome engineering models. The work will present public aspects of cases from Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Hilton International, several Smart Cities, Philips Healthcare, DHL, Unipart and several embedded technology examples from KPIT Cummings. The complete digital engineering models and architecture principles will also be explored relating to current research on Data Hubs and modular architecture systems thinking emerging in leading research projects I have involvement with in Warwick University consortia including Cambridge University and several other leading institutions and Industry partners. This work is aimed to also support foundational business development of The Open Group Open Platform 3.0 Forum program of work in 2014-2015.
It also relates to my forthcoming book “Building the Digital Enterprise, A guide to architecting Digital Workspaces” Palgrave Macmillan due out next year Q1 2015.
